If you are having problems with Encore on your mobile device please see our WRLS ILS expert, David Krantz, advice:
Encore mobile is not displaying at all for several patrons.

The good news is that the workaround of changing a device’s display to Desktop does still work.

Here are the instructions we sent out last winter for switching to Desktop view on a phone:

—–
For affected devices, changing your browser’s display to Desktop has been shown to enable patron account loading, though appearance and navigation will be slightly different.
Android:
1. Open Chrome on your device
2. Tap More or the three vertical dots, then Settings
3. Under Advanced, selected Site settings, then Desktop site
4. Turn on Desktop site

Apple/Safari
1. Open Safari on your device
2. Navigate to the library catalog website you normally use, or www.wrlsweb.org
3. Tap the ‘aA’ icon in the left part of the address bar
4. Tap Request Desktop Website
