Summer Reading Program-
Theme- ‘All Together Now’
The 2023 children’s summer reading program was a smash hit!! All the participants did a great job reading books & playing bingo.
Annual summer reading program was June 6 through July 6 The Hillsboro Public Library had readings in City Park, Albert Field park Thursdays at 2:30PM. Those who read 6 books attended a carnival with give away items at Albert Field Memorial- city park- Thursday July 6. 2-5PM. Drive in style movies for the family every first Friday July through October 2023. Hillsboro let’s keep them reading all summer long!

Drop Ins
Drop Ins are in full swing please check the Facebook for the next upcoming event.
The drop in group meets at the Hillsboro Public Library on the third Thursday of August, September, October and November, with a special Christmas program in December. The program begins at 6:30 PM with a guest speaker who provides a short program. Topics will vary and there will be time for audience participation. Light refreshments will be served, donations are welcome. There is no preregistration and no obligation to attend all events. Check the website and Facebook for information as to topics. Come when you can stay as long as you wish, all ages are encouraged to attend. This program is sponsored by the Hillsboro Friends Of The Library.
